I would like to be referred for trauma and orthopaedics to the hospital with the shortest wait.

Under the NHS Constitution, when my GP refers me for a first outpatient appointment I have the right to choose which provider I go to in England, including independent hospitals that hold an NHS contract. I would like to use that right.

The three shortest waits within 25 miles of East Lindsey

1. St Hugh's Hospital (independent hospital, free on the NHS)
   Most people treated in August 2026 waited 15 to 30 weeks. 21 miles from East Lindsey. ODS code NTE02.
2. Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust
   Most people treated in August 2026 waited 15 to 50 weeks. 21 miles from East Lindsey. ODS code RJL.
3. Boston West Hospital (independent hospital, free on the NHS)
   Most people treated in August 2026 waited 22 to 48 weeks. 20.6 miles from East Lindsey. ODS code NVC27.
