I would like to be referred for other surgical services to the hospital with the shortest wait.

Under the NHS Constitution, when my GP refers me for a first outpatient appointment I have the right to choose which provider I go to in England, including independent hospitals that hold an NHS contract. I would like to use that right.

The three shortest waits within 25 miles of North East Lincolnshire

1. Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
   Most people treated in August 2026 waited 2 to 13 weeks. 16.3 miles from North East Lincolnshire. ODS code RWA.
2. Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust
   Most people treated in August 2026 waited 4 to 10 weeks. 1.4 miles from North East Lincolnshire. ODS code RJL.
3. Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital (independent hospital, free on the NHS)
   Most people treated in August 2026 waited 14 to 54 weeks. 18.3 miles from North East Lincolnshire. ODS code NT351.
