Accuracy
Every figure shows its source and the period it covers. Official statistics are published after a delay and cover whole specialties, not individual operations. Your own wait may differ. We correct errors as soon as we know of them.
Using our data
Figures we republish from government sources stay under their original licence, usually the Open Government Licence. Our own text and layout are ours; you may quote short extracts with a link. Our JSON endpoints are free for fair use with a named user agent.
